Well, we've started another week back at our respective day jobs and we're all faced with another bout of "how do I get in more exercise when I'm stuck at a desk all day?" I had this question myself this morning and I found an interesting little exercise I'm going to try, and I'm going to encourage you to do so as well.
Sit up at your chair as straight as you can and tighten your abs. Lift one leg up to the level of your hips and flex your foot to a 90 degree angle. Hold this stretch for five seconds, then lower your leg. Repeat with the other leg. Do this five times for each leg for a really nice stretch that will get the blood flowing from sitting on your rear all day. Do this several times throughout the day and you should be in great shape for an after work walk!
