The Daily Quest returns!  Aww yeah!

Sorry for the lack of posts in the last week, friends. Truth of the matter is that I got knocked on my arse by a fairly nasty cold and I haven't really been doing much of anything since Sunday. This includes, unfortunately, eating properly and exercising. I got on the treadmill yesterday for 45 minutes and when I go for a run this afternoon it will be the first time I've done so since last Friday. I do not anticipate having a fun time of it.

Which brings me to the topic of the day – Recovering from an illness. Nothing knocks you off the rails like getting sick, and for many it can be a really hard road to get back to good habits that you established pre-disease. We've all gone through this, so I'm wondering – What tricks have you learned that help you get back in the swing of things once you're feeling better?

With cold and flu season in high swing this can be a make or break deal for those who are really trying to establish some healthy habits. Let's hear what has worked for you!

Well, for the past week, I've been suffering from Gastritis, my doctor gave me medication that should finish it off in about two weeks. I haven't been able to do much cardio or situps for the past week, and just walking to work has been causing me pain, so I've been focusing on doing arm exercises for the past week.
