So it looks like we've entered the next rev for exer-gaming, and boy do I love the exer-games. But I've sort of lost track of the market (heck, since the baby arrived I've lost track of most things that don't have to do with diapers or crying…)
Does anyone have thoughts on EA Sports Active: More Workouts or Wii Fit Plus?
Are there any others out there that I should be aware of?

I haven't tried either.
I have Wii Fit, and, I found the exercises more of a game than an exercise.
I also have EA Sports Active, and I actually sweat on that one. It pwned the Wii Fit, imho.

We have a copy of More Workouts here at ShrinkGeek HQ but with the holiday madness, the re-design, and commitments outside of work we haven't had a chance to get a proper review going on it. That said, I have to agree with CodeMonkey. EA Active is a much more intense program if you're looking for a good solid workout.

We have both of the originals, it was more the add-ons I was wondering about.
I liked EA Active, but only had it for a few weeks before getting grounded by the gout. One problem I had was getting the strap placement right, I suspect it's like adjusting your drum height in Rock Band… it just takes some practice.
In a related news item, here's a nearly perfect anti-exergame from Sony: TORNE. Get achivements for watching TV…

The biggest addition to "More Workouts" outside of the 60 day challenge was the inclusion of some seriously lacking core workouts. That pretty much made the game complete in my opinion.
