Excellent.
I picked up EA Active and was using it before the gout flare up. I like lots of the 'other' stuff; notably not having to pick each exercise but am not wowed by the graphics and feel the motion sensing is weirdly picky (I'd be running at the same pace but my avatar would slow to a crawl then suddenly sprint; it would double-punch during boxing.)

Maybe the whole 'weigh your pets' thing is Nintendo's way of cashing in on purse dogs? Sort of like the 'attach the pedometer to your dogs' collar.'
