Sometimes, there’s just something about a particular workout routine that really resonates with us, or just puts us off. My antipathy for treadmills is no secret. Mike, on the other hand, has no such misgivings. Fortunately, this means we’re seldom in each other’s way at the office fitness center, except maybe at the water fountain. Some folks prefer never to set foot in a gym at all, and would much rather get their exercise through outdoor activities.
People just like different things, right? There may be more to it than that. We might find our best fitness fit with a quick peek at the old brainmeats. A friend shared this fitness-oriented take on the Jungian / Myers-Briggs personality type quiz, equating each of them to what sort of exercise regimen and environment folks would find most enjoyable, and subsequently get the most out of.
It’s a quick little quiz, and an interesting read. It seems to have profiled me (ESTP/ESFP – “Red“) pretty accurately, at least in this chipper, Friday-afternoon mindset.
