For most folks getting into a new nutritional or fitness routine, one of the goals they have in mind is weight loss. “I want to lose _______ pounds,” is an oft-heard refrain. And, for a lot of people, this is a great place to start. However, looking at ourselves in the mirror, it’s hard to judge what X pounds looks like.

After all, carrying extra weight around makes doing tasks harder, at least in the gaming systems nuanced enough to take it into consideration.  Got excess loot? You’ll get tired more quickly.  Got bad-ass full plate armor on? You’re not gonna run so fast.

Herewith, a handy weight reference, updated for the modern-day electronic office warrior (you metric freaks are on your own; go Google ___ pounds in KG *grin*):

If it helps to think about your weight loss goals in terms of throwing out unwanted electronics, there you go.   You’ve probably got some cluttering the office, car, garage, bedroom, living room, kitchen, attic… wait, is that just me?
